After about 1000 round's thru my SAR1.. I was shooting yesterday and noticed my trigger finger stinging like a bitch.. Damn it I thought so I went to wally world to get some thing's for my dremel and was heading home too fix it..Since I was out I decided to swing by my local gun store..After leaving the gun store with a Bulgarian Makarov and dremel bit's I headed home to fix my SAR (i got the LOOK from the little lady I might add)Well I jumped on Makarov.com ended up taking it all apart and playing with the new pistol till 10:00 last night..There pretty nice pistol's off the subject..Anyway today I got started on the rifle I was a little concearned with the sheapard crook and all Problem's I'd heard but I'm glad to say all went well polished everything while I was at it..Put it all back together stepped out back shot..Now I have a 30 round bolt action!!!!What the f%@!...I look it all over and am puzzeled as hell...Pissed I stomp back in the shop and there on the floor under my shop chair is a little spring..Shit I droped the sping that goes under the trigger and forgot to put it in...After tearing apart and putting back together I loaded up a 30 round clip bumped fired it out back..Flawless..Not realizing the wife was taking a NAP I heard foul word's coming thru my hearing protection...I should have left em on but I got the look again...But the dog house is nice and well protected...HA |

Yes. I had to make another notch to accomidate the extra hook. Just took out the old FCG and used a round file about the same size as the existing slot then carefully filed the extra slot on the other side till it was the same length as the other. Done it thru the top of the reciever incase I slipped or something so wouldn't scratch the outside, but went real smooth. Took about ten or fifteen minutes to do and looks like it was always there. I noticed the slap and lousy pull in mine the first time I took it out. The G.T. FCG was a big improvement. No slap and real good feel. |

I have had trigger slap before. My wife and I went shooting and she was standing next to me. Well I pulled the trigger and she slaped me. I looked over at her and she was just glaring at me. So I brought her up again and pulled the trigger again and she slaped me again. This time I asked her what the hell she was doing and she said you keep throughing them shells at me ! I said well dumb ass get on the other side of me! Well ! She slaped me again. But all better now ! |
