I recently bought a wasr 10/63 that was having problems with the bolt carrier not always going forward into battery. Im sure it had something to do with the gas piston being welded in, with no wobble. I had a spare Romanian bolt carrier from a "G" kit, and i installed it, and the rifle now functions properly. If the Polish one doesnt seem to work, your best bet, in my opinion, would be to get another Romanian carrier for it. I think Apex has them in stock.

I replaced the piston/carrier in my WASR 10GP with a Polish carrier and the rifle runs better than it ever has, drop in, no fitting required. Have you measured your factory carrier vs the Polish one?
