| Whats the difference between a WASR 10, and a WASR 10/63? Or any of the other WASR rifles? I have had 3 over the last 10 years, but don't remember which one I had (all worked 100%). It looks like I will be buying another on here soon. Which should I get? |
I'm not a big fan of WASRs (only because I prefer to roll my own AKs) but my guess is the different names has to do with the type they were before they were rebuilt semi auto only. My guess is a standard WASR-10 is a Romanian Guard kit. The WASR-10/63 was built on a Romanian 63 (were the ones used for active duty). I think 10 is the number for Romanian made stuff. It's my guess, best place to ask would be the build forum.
