Is their a difference between a AK47 mag and a Ak74 mag ? I bought two 10rnd romy mags off the EE and the bolt won`t slide through, stop on the end of the mag . It was advertised on the board as AK 47 mags ?
ETA+ These are single stack and their are no proof marking on these Mags . Thanks for the info ,guess I will live and learn and now I know, have two mag that are usless me me . V

Single stack magazines will not work in an AK that uses standard magazines.
First, as you've discovered the bolt won't pass between the feed lips unless the feed lug has been narrowed. Second, the single stack magazines are too narrow to be stabilized properly. The magazine well and magazine locator tabs are too wide. You need double stack magazines. |
