[ARCHIVED THREAD] - WASR UNDERFOLDER STOCK

Just picked up a WASR under folder. The under folding stock has about a half inch of play, it will move up and down real easy. Is there anything I can do or should I send it back to Century?

from what i heard its the nature of the beast. even with the expensive ones.

I had a Yugo under folder and it had a little play. This one has a good half to three quarter inch of play.

Normal. Both UF I've owned have had a decent amount of play in the stocks. It's the price one pays for looking cool.

I have one and sometimes it locks up solid and other times it has play in it. I have not figured out why but if it is loose, I fold it and then extend it...magically it is solid again.

Sent it back to Century 2 weeks ago to be repaired, and yesterday I received a brand new rifle from Century. This one looks really good straight sights, and the stock locks up rock solid. Not bad all in all, but I did have to pay the shipping to Century.
