Hello, everyone.  I have a Romanian GP75.  I've noticed that on my bolt carrier and gas piston that there is a slight amount of play.  Behind the roll pin where the gas piston is threaded, there is a slight amount of wobble.  Is this normal in Rommy variants?  If I need to I can drill out the roll pin and redo it myself.  Just curious if anyone else has experienced anyhting similar to this.

All properly assembled AKs have play in the gas piston. It's one of the charecteristics which make the rifle reliable.

Roll pin?

The piston should be threaded into the bolt carrier and prevented from unscrewing by a rivet.

What you call a rivet I call a roll pin.  Same thing, the pin that keeps the gas piston from unthreading.
