Ok so i just bought a Romy WASR the other day. I took it to the range and I was suprised with its accuracy but I do not like the iron sights. So heres the problem I really want to refinish the wood and keep it original. I have a new Trijicon Reflex RX01 lying in the gun safe that I would like to mount on this rifle. Can someone please tell me one of the best and cheapest ways to mount this optic? I really dont want to spend more that 50 for a mount.

I paid a few dollars more and got the quick detatch mount from Midway, same as Classic Arms, except it goes on and off with a lever instead of set screws.   Great mount, rock solid, no movement at all.  And the price is right.  I have a red dot on mine, mounted on my WASR.

BP-02 if you have a side rail on the receiver.  Cheapest mount I would be willing to buy.  Anything cheaper is usually junk.

What liqiudmetal said, your going to spend 50+ (unless you find a private sale for less) for a good mount, the cheaper ones aren't worth it.

I'm very pleased with the UTG quick detach mount.  It seems well thought out and there is not a lot to go wrong with it.  I can definitely understand there are a  valid reasons that people have a "No UTG/Leapers"  policy but with this particular mount I have no problems recommending it to others.
