Ok so i just bought a Romy WASR the other day. I took it to the range and I was suprised with its accuracy but I do not like the iron sights. So heres the problem I really want to refinish the wood and keep it original. I have a new Trijicon Reflex RX01 lying in the gun safe that I would like to mount on this rifle. Can someone please tell me one of the best and cheapest ways to mount this optic? I really dont want to spend more that 50 for a mount.

did the WASR come with the standard russian mount on the left hand side? if so, they a picatinny mount that goes there check out the one on classic arms-it's UTG but at least you can see what to look for

| I paid a few dollars more and got the quick detatch mount from Midway, same as Classic Arms, except it goes on and off with a lever instead of set screws. Great mount, rock solid, no movement at all. And the price is right. I have a red dot on mine, mounted on my WASR. |

BP-02 if you have a side rail on the receiver. Cheapest mount I would be willing to buy. Anything cheaper is usually junk. |

Quoted: cant find them on the larue page i dont think he makes them anymore http://www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=2&f=219&t=180191 |
| I'm very pleased with the UTG quick detach mount. It seems well thought out and there is not a lot to go wrong with it. I can definitely understand there are a valid reasons that people have a "No UTG/Leapers" policy but with this particular mount I have no problems recommending it to others. |
