Quoted:
To zero the rifle, set the sight at 1 (for 100 meters) and zero at 100 m or yards.
Do the Romy AK's come factory sighted? Don't count on it I'm trying to figure out the point of aim for my AK at 300m. What should I zero it at? 250m? 300m? The sights will now allow you to shoot at point of aim if you; 1. zeroed at 100m 2. accurately estimate the range to the target and 3. adjust the rear sight leaf to that range. The "P" setting (battle sight setting) is the same as 300m. When the rifle is properly zeroed, that setting will allow hits on a torso sized target out to 300m if you do your part. |

I zero at 100 and adjust the sights according to the range of the target.
There are directions in this manual: http://www.box.net/shared/cu2djae1zb Look in the section on zeroing rifles for the spec. BSW |
