I found this in an archived thread from here that you participated in Jan. It's the link provided in that thread.

Would that work on a Tapco folder?

I don't know, I don't have a Tapco stock to look at. It fits on my PSL and my WASR quite well, but I only use it on my PSL.

I have a 7.62x54R buttpad that fits SVDs, PSLs, and Mosins. I got it from Kalinka here: http://www.kalinkaoptics.com/SearchResult.aspx?CategoryID=38

I'll sell it for 30 shipped.

it wasn't designed for TAPCO if that helps, and you should be able to find it for $25 or cheaper

I have a FSE version I believe.  I got it from Centerfire Systems, it was around $10-15.  It fits perfectly on the PSL.  It is a little tight, which is good as it won't slip off.  It also fits the metal butt plate and will recoil properly with it.  The rubber is a little harder than I would like, but not bad all together.  The PSL doesn't have heavy recoil, so I mainly use it as a stock extender.

thanks for the original link. That's where I got mine from.
I also use this on my 91/30 and needed the website again to get one for my brother for his 91/30.

That's why I use it on the PSL, as well. It makes the stock just the right length for me and if I need to shoot with a bulky jacket or coat on, it slips off easily enough w/o being so easy it's a pain to keep in place or worry about losing it. IMO, it's a really simple, cheap, and useful solution to the one problem I have with my PSL: the short stock.
