How is it? Can you put the Tapco G2 trigger in it?

Yes...any single hook AK trigger is good to go.

PSL's have a 2-stage trigger.  Mine breaks at 6lbs, 6oz and has a gritty first stage.  My AR has a 4lb trigger, and the break feels the same, most likely because the PSL has a wider trigger face.  Some light stoning would probably make it pretty good.  I've never been too picky about triggers and will probably leave it be.

The PSL trigger is by no means a match grade trigger but not bad for a military rifle. If you feel comfortable operating a dremel tool and/or some sandpaper a much better trigger can be had. Red Star arms sells a nice adjustable trigger for the PSL for 89.00. You can set it for a single or two stage trigger. My bad its 84.99

I was just informed by a PSL owner/shooter that Jard now offers an adjustable trigger.
I found it here,

Ugh, if "2-stage" means "lots of gritty creep before it stacks and finally breaks" then I guess that's what I have. It's easily the worst trigger on any milsurp I've ever shot (even counting the Nagant revolver!). I'm definitely going to have to do some polishing on this thing.
