I bought a hi-cap wasr10 a couple years ago. I'd like to thread the barrel (it came un-threaded) and change the stock set. My understanding is the hi-cap wasr10's were already converted to be 922r compliant in order to accept the 30-rd mags. I'm thinking this should then enable me to do the aforementioned changes and remain compliant, assuming i use USA parts. I am correct?

Theoretically, yes.  But it never hurts to tally up your parts and double check.

USA muzzle devices are common.  You can also get USA-made mags (meh...), USA followers, USA furniture, USA FCGs...

If you don't have a Tapco G2 trigger, they're really nice and relatively inexpensive.  Probably the best thing Tapco makes.
