I'm looking into purchasing a psl soon,but I don't know alot about them.Are there any known problems with the Century built ones?Do the Century ones have a Romanian receiver?How about quality?.....Thanks in advance.

I think the Century ones are imported as a complete rifle, from the Romanian factory. The ones marked FPK Dragunov on the bottom of the receiver are the ones built in the US(usually by TGI), on Romanian receivers. The ones I got that are CAI marked look good. Here is a lot of good info about them: www.dragunov.net/romanian_psl.html The Century ones should come with at least 2 mags, that are serialized to match the rifle, and a scope. All part #s will match on the Century. Mine came with 4 mags(2 serialized and matched to the rifle, 2 mismatched). They are imported like this, so if the dealer tries to sell it to you with less than 2 mags, look elsewhere. |
