| I wanted one of these. I really wanted the "classic Wood" variety. Found a SA-M7 Classic for $1300 preban, which I thought was too steep. So I bought a LNIB Polytech Legend with milled receiver (not a B-West). It's a factory (386) and the importer is KSN Atlanta. Have not received it yet so no pics yet. How would you guys rate the SA-M7 classic against the the legened? Pros and cons. |

I Too am interested in the Polytech legend AKs I have a buddy who has several AK-47s & He has got me wanting a Good one Too!! He's Got MAK-90s, AMD-65s & a Polish Underfolder If You don't mind me askin, What Did you have to pay for that Milled Reciever Polytech Legend?? I saw one last weekend that I'm sure He'll still have.. I want a Good AK with all the goodies, Wood Pistol Grip, Folding bayonete, threaded barrel w/ slant break, double hook hammer & trigger, The Way the used to come 20 years ago.. I had a late bud that bought a Norinco underfolder back in 1989 for $349 & I'm sure that rifle would be worth $1200 nowdays Those SA-M7s also look interesting but WOW!! Pocketbook can't take that much abuse Thanks Beretta92 who now has a S&W Snubnose Fetish My Last 4 purchases have been MOD60, MOD617, MOD940, & Pre40 I Might Need Therapy or a 12 step Program What If I get Hooked on AKs

The Poly-tech will never again be imported. It was built in a true military factory from military components. The Arsenal will go back into production as soon as demand is high enough. The current price stupidity will end the moment Arsenal starts cranking out milled receiver rifles again. You made the right choice. |
