| I would like to know how the gas spring-retainer is supposed to work, when my gas piston is removed it isnt like the mak 90 where it has a retainer.....so spring carrier come out as 1 unit. mine has spring long u-shaped retainer and carrier, how does the retainer work ...mine just hags in the wind |
| Yes, Im sorry I dont know the names of the parts, but the rod, the spring and a long "u shaped piece of twisted wire are the parts that I need help with. On the MAk90 the assembly is retained as one piece by a small washer at the end of rod. On my Mak91 I just cant see a purpose for the long u-shaped saftey wire. Id really like to see a pic of somone elses setup. My spring seems to stay put on the rod but just cant see a reason the the other piece. |
