I have recently been asked by a friend to find out some information on a rifle he is looking at. It is a polytech aks ak47. I have not heard of these so I would like to know if they are any good or not, what to look for etc. This gun is 10 yrs old and comes with 10 30round mags, folding stock, bayonet, flash supressor, re-loading dies, 500 rounds of empty brass, and a tactical carry case, the asking price is 1200.00 u.s. for all. I am not sure if it is a stamped or milled receiver, I will try to find out. I hope someone can help me with info on this |

the price is about correct...perhaps $100 high...for a minty example. hopefully, the gun is older than 10 years old...or it's a post-ban that is valued at $500-550 for that package. it has to be a pre-'89 rifle to be worth the $1200 figure. the poly was a norinco built to keng's specifications. see the link tacked up top for poly info and parts. keng's will run the serial number for you to determine the year of import. |
