just got one and this is the second one I have owned. both of them seem to have a darker blonde colored wood. The replacement furniture for these on the polytech website is a light colored blonde wood. Were these made with a darker colored blonde wood or the light ones at the polytech website store? I am wondering if the darker colored wood is that color due to oil, dirt and time.

My spiker with blonde wood is on the dark side from use, storage, oil, etc. it also is an older /416\ factory stamped one from 85. Yours has a 386
Factory mark which probably makes it a later version Polytech. 88-89? Polytech was never very consistent with wood tones. My legend Bayo is spot on with the furniture but I have seen Legend bayo's and furniture come very light and also very dark. Your furniture is definitely original but most likely a darker stain and may have some color due to age, oiling, etc which I think give it a nice look.
