Anyone happen to have a spare grip screw they want to sell? I know.... I can get it from Brownells or somewhere, but I'd rather help out a fellow arfcom poster. I never thought that the MAK 90 screw would be shorter. Guess I should have checked.

Do you need a thumbhole-length screw or a full length screw?  When my replacement furniture gets here in a few days, I'll probably have a spare thumbhole stock grip screw.  I got my regular-length screw from Fastenal.  I had to fiddle around with the website a bit to find one of the various M6-1.0x100mm screws in stock.

I've bought a couple of longer ones from KVAR and oddly after asking very nicely over the phone, the sales person was kind enough to ship the screw for ~$1.50 on top of the $6 price of the screw.

I'm actually looking for the full length one. Do you happen to remember the part number for the fastenal part? I have one of them locally and might be able to pick one up there. Thanks for the info on KVAR there to o Blitz.

from what I understand the shorter ("butthole stock") screw can be used if you specify a deeper drill hole on an ironwood design stock.  Can anyone confirm this or did I read wrong? Maybe it just looks bad that way... not sure.  thanks.

This is what I got, but now that I have the pistol grip in hand, the head of that bolt won't fit down into the recess of this particular pistol grip.  It threads onto the nut, though, and looks like it'll be long enough if I can open up the recess some.

It says they make the AKM-style pistol grip to use the shorter screw, but it doesn't say that on the Chinese style furniture description.
