I have searched all over forums and the web and can't find the answer.

My Blue Book shows a much lower value for a NHM 90 Sport (about the same as a Mak 90) than for a NHM 90.  About 30% lower.

There's no detail explaining the difference in the book.  I haven't seen anything online except cryptic comments that "some" NHM 90's are marked sport, or sporter.

I have one that is not marked sport or sporter.  It has the Boyd stock, no bayo lug, tacked on thing on the muzzle.  So is it worth more than a Mak 90 or NHM 90 Sport?  If so, why?

yours may be a little more original than the sporter model but it comes down to the "NHM" markings which are post-ban and require 922 compliance for any alterations to the rifle. so the price of all 3 rifles should be comparable. IMO you still have a top notch rifle in any of the 3 configurations.

*EDIT* the only difference is that your NHM-90 has muzzle threads under that thing, the mak and the NHM-90 sporter have no threads.

I have never seen a NHM-90 Sporter or even heard of it.  NHM-90s I have, as I have one.  It has a threaded muzzle and a straight cut receiver, thats the way I have seen all NHM-90s.  Most of the Mak-90s I seen have slant cut receivers, and non threaded muzzles, some even grounded to the point where you really dont have enough metal to thread.

Does anyone know what the meaning of "NHM" stands for?  For Mak its modified ak of 1990.  But whats NHM?

I find it funny how for the past few years I see Mak90s going for more $$ than NHM's,  these are the same Maks with slant butts and no threads.

You have a picture of the nhm90 sporter?  thanks

Maybe one of the NHM-90s is the ones with the UF holes in it?    They are harder to find and essentially a folder waiting to be liberated?
