Can the staright cut receiver mak 90s take the standard buttstock and pistol grip?

Yes. Chinese wood will fit right in. A European buttstock will need a little filing, because of the thicker Chinese receiver. GARY N4KVE

I actually prefer the thumbhole stock on mine, very solid and it's just the right shoulder length.

I prefer the thumbhole stock also, but only after I whittled it down to fit my hand. If your into woodwork, breakout the files and have fun. Now it's custom for me! And the length-of-pull id just right. The blonde colored wood had too go, it's now walnut stained with a satin finish. I'm not sure what species of wood it is, but the grain is not bad either.

To be compliant, don't forget to change out enough parts for U.S. parts. It somehow makes the rifle magically less evil.
