Anyone have a good method of attaching a sling to the front metal loop on a Norinco that will not mess up the metal loop? Maybe some kind of leather loop or plastic ring? Thanks..

Just use a Chinese sling with the leather tab if you're worried about marring the finish on it with the metal-to-metal contact of a Russian/Euro style hook sling.

Those Chinese slings are a must have. I use them on multiple rifles and they work great.
