I have the opportunity to buy a Polytech Legend for $1200. Only problem is I don't know much about them. I've read some talk of bad receivers on some of them. What questions should I ask before I go take a look at this thing? I don't want to get stuck with a faulty gun, especially when I'd be investing so much into it.
I'm an AK noob. Help me out. |

no such thing as a bad legend. It is the closest thing to a real Ak 47 you'll ever find in this country since it is the real thing minus the select fire feature. They shoot unbelievably well and are made with the straightest hand picked barrels etc... , just a wonderful rifle IMHO
Make sure it is the real thing by checking markings etc...and not a converted mak90 compare it to thishttp://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.asp?Item=107659627 it's prob. worth $1600.00 + and if it is the underfolder version it's worth even more as long as it is in reasonable decent condition. The way the election is looking it's going to be worth way more shortly. |
