Hello,
I recently just went too the firing range with my MAK-90 and for some odd reason, everytime the rifle is fired, the Bolt Carrier gets jammed up in the back and must be smacked back down in order too successully load another round too be fired.  When first bought a Pictanni Rail was installed onto the rifle, I did however, have this removed, as I did not want too have a Pictanni Rail installed.  The Pictanni Rail was installed on the back of the rifle.  I did some research on the MAK-90 and noticed something also odd about my MAK-90 compared too other MAK-90s, apparently it has quite a good size for screws, located near the back of the rifle where the trigger is located.  I had someone look at it (A friend of mine who knows a bit about guns) and told me that it looked like someone had customly had a blacksmith work on the MAK-90 too install the Pictanni Rail.  I would post up some pictures and plan too do so as soon as I get home.  I appreciate whatever information you guys can give me in the mean time though.  Most people tell me just too take it back, but I don't know.

Sounds like your top cover is binding, take it off and work the action.

Unless I misunderstood, I did this and it still seems to have trouble even when the top cover is removed.  It seems like when on my GP WASR-10 the Bolt Carrier is so light that it easily pulls back without feeling like it's very heavy and tough too pull back, which is basically how the MAK-90 feels, it's like trying to move a rock almost, I mean, not that heavy h
