Anyone know what I could use to finish the receiver to match the rest of the kit? I nomally use Molyresin but its a bit off in shade/color IMO.

I just used Brownells flat black gun paint and after being handled a bit it is a perfect match. It gets a dull shine that matches the SA. I only shot the receiver so I could see if it would match. Stuff works pretty good if you use your guns a lot and don't plan on them being safe queens.

Howler, Brownells sells several different gun paints.  Which is the type used?

It's the ALUMA-HYDE II flat black. I've built two of the SA85s and the receiver looks factory. I just make sure it is very clean and after shooting the paint I let it dry for an hour or two then set it by the woodstove so it stays pretty warm for the night, by morning it's pretty well cured and ready to go. When it stops smelling like paint it's cured, takes a few days. I've used that stuff on dozens of guns with really good results. I really bought it for ARs but have had good results on the AKs.
