My experience with their triggers is that they suck.  I purchased one of their US made ones for 922 compliance and it slaps like crazy!!

i'm not sure if they make their own or not, but the trigger in my SLR-105 is smooth as can be with no slap at all.

My SLR105A1 is smooth, love the trigger.

I had two of the  metal injected molded sets. No real difference in feel compared to polished G2 set.  It is supposed to be trigger slap proof as the disconnector has a little tail that sits on the rivet of the trigger guard preventing rearward movement.  I never had any trigger slap with mine. I did have trigger slap with the older FCG that came with my SLR-105.

My two slr105a1's have awesome triggers, but I'm talking about the seperate trigger group I bought from them...it was horrible.  I'm not sure what's different about it, but the trigger slap was bad.

I like the one I have. Very smooth. My only complaint is I could not fit the safety so I have 0 trigger movement with the safety on like you can with the Red Star.

+1 On the Disconnector tail that someone else posted. Maybe the rivet is too flat to operate correctly? That may cause the Slap problem.

I read about a 'bad batch' 2 years ago, which they offered to replace in the guns. The one in my SAM7 has been very good after a few hundred cycles to finish smoothing in. Not quite as smooth or short a single stage oull as my RSA sets, but not worth changing out either on my primary plate match gun.

I have the newer Metal Injection Molded (MIM) set in my SLR-105, and it has a smooth, single-stage trigger pull and no trigger slap.  The hammer face is somewhat deformed though, indicating that the metal may be a little on the soft side.  This rifle has around 1,200 rounds down the pipe so far.  The lengthened disconnector tail and extended trigger guard rivet (bottoming stop) "trick" is kind of interesting.  Even with the trigger pulled fully to the rear and the disconnector pushed completely back, the disconnector tail never comes close to touching the rear of the trigger, it contacts the extended rivet.  This might be partially to thank for no trigger slap, although plenty of AK's without this feature have no slap either.

These FCG sets also have a ramp at the top/front of the hammer, so they clear the extra projection at the front of an AK-74 bolt carrier during re-assembly.
