Here's my baby, I have a much better picture of her with a bipod, but I'll have to get on the other computer, and that'll probably be in February, *edit-oh and technically it's not an AK-74, it's in 7.62x39mm

Roger that!  Looks nice!

What are you going to do about a sling swivel?  Any ideas?

I'll probably just add a stud and put a removable sling swivel on the bottom side.  Any better ideas?

Not really.  I'm in the same boat.  Bought this nice Russian furniture for my Type III, but the stock doesn't have any inletting for the sling swivel.  And I'm sure as hell not going to do it myself, most likely ending up damaging that beautiful wood.  I thought about getting a receiver sling swivel, a la the Polytech Legend, SA M-7 Classic, etc., but not sure how to mount it.  Perhaps a spot weld or something similar.

Ok... I added the sling swivel.  I was going to have my gunsmith carve the inlet for the swivel, but he wanted $65!  So... I just drilled two holes and mounted it without the inlet.  I thought I can always take it off and do the inlet if it looks bad... but it actually looks pretty nice!

Is that a Russian mag?

Also, why isn't this thread stickied like the other Country's pic threads??  I think it should be stickied, or someone should start an "official Bulgarian pic thread" and sticky that.

Yes, it's a Russian slab-side.  I've since changed out the Polish furniture for Russian as well.  I'll have to get new pics.
