Not really. I'm in the same boat. Bought this nice Russian furniture for my Type III, but the stock doesn't have any inletting for the sling swivel. And I'm sure as hell not going to do it myself, most likely ending up damaging that beautiful wood. I thought about getting a receiver sling swivel, a la the Polytech Legend, SA M-7 Classic, etc., but not sure how to mount it. Perhaps a spot weld or something similar. |

Yes, it's a Russian slab-side. I've since changed out the Polish furniture for Russian as well. I'll have to get new pics. Bud |
