I just purchased an Armory SSR85C2 fixed stock AK. This is my first AK and it seems like an excellent buy.
Does anyone know if I can put one of the Romanian side folding stocks on this rifle?

Congrats,
the Romy side folder is made for AKs with 1.0 mm receivers.
Your SSR-85C-2 has a hefty 1.6 mm receiver.
There are a couple of guys on this site that filed down the folder, and managed to get
it into the thicker receiver.

I thought I read something about the ACE sidefolder made for the milled receivers will just fit right up on the SSR85C2 thicker stamped receiver? Anyone remember that?
