[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Front Sight Base for SLR-95

I want to replace my post ban front sight base with a pre-ban (I have enough Us parts to do this). I am having trouble locating a pre-ban base that is drilled for the detent, has the bayo lug, and has and internal diameter of .570. Bob at Kvar is having a hard time locating one for me. I looked everywhere. Anyone know where I can get one of these? Thanks!!!!!!!

Just check around on the buy/sell section, i am in the process of converting my post ban over to a pre ban style and found everything i needed on here.

Hey Joel, If you find one, post it back on here where you picked it up at. I have an SLR-95 that I want to do the same thing with. I couldn't find one either and just gave up. You get one, let everyone (esp if they have more than one). Thanks!

you guys are going to have fun converting it from post to preban/noban. i dont even see why they use retaining pins on the front sight and gas chamber, they literally press that onto the barrel and i had to cut my front sight off.
