Arsenal Side-Folder vs Under-Folder > Bulgarian

I've been looking at the SA M-7 SF and SAS M-7.
What's your preference and why?

If you can find one, the side folders are MUCH more comfortable, and have the Galil style safety to boot.

The underfolders definitely have the cool factor, but they are not nearly as comfortable.

Oh..........buy both. Your wife would probably enjoy the sidefolder better..........

How's the Galil style safety different from the "regular" style AK safety?

With your hand still on the grip, the thumb works the safety. And the stock clears the reg safety when folded.

Side lets you use optics, and slightly raises your sight line compared to std or under stocks. With my MTK75 mount and 1.5-5x20 Leupold, it all lines up pretty much perfect for me.

If you plan on ogling it instead of actually shooting it then yes. If you want to hit something, the side wins hands down.

Another added bonus---with the stock folded----I can fit my side folder on the top shelf of the safe---allowing me to fit more guns in there.

Picking up the side folder assembly for the AR SF in Sophia next month. Can get it there for about 50 Euro when available. Will go on my new M-5S. Have to see who can do the left side safety mod. Hmm...will have to p/u the safety there, too. Note to self....
