Is there enough material at the end of the barrel to be threaded for 14mm ak muzzle devices?

Don't want to bother swapping front sight, just maybe put a brake or slantcut on and rocksett.

On every one I've seen...Yes.

Just measure it.
As I recall it's 14 mm thick at the muzzle which is what you need in order to thread and mount a standard AK muzzle attachment.
The Bulgarian SLR 95 and 96 muzzles were just not threaded at the factory so the barrel is the correct size after threading.

There is no need to use Rocksett or to otherwise "permanently" attach the muzzle brake. The Clinton Gun Ban, and its prohibition on exposed muzzle threads was allowed to expire by "W" (Bush) in 2004.

THis is correct, I have two of them . They came from the factory with a  pinned on brake instead of threaded. 14x1 LH is how mine are now threaded.

Thanks all.  PM me if you are getting rid of a 14mm lh threading die.
