Now before you say, "there are hundreds of these threads, so suck it" I want to add this as a variable: Has to be reliable AND lightweight.
MSA's quality is hit and miss, so I've heard. I've in talks with someone named RenegadeBuck about his homegrown design, and then there's Definitive Arms, but they have kind of a long waiting list. This will probably be a temporary fix until I can get a hold of Definitive Arms, sometime this year. |

I doubt anyone has used them all, so the answer you get here will not be based on first hand experience.
The MSA has the benefit of being removable and the rifle can still use AK mags when removed. The Definitive Arms has the benefit of having a LRBHO. That being said, I prefer AK mags, they are of a more robust design imo and the benefit of AR mag availability is no longer true in the current market. Although, if you already have an AR mag stockpile then that's a whole different story. |

They only have a sub-forum here, as of right now. They make a permanent adapter that they put on the rifle itself. And I've heard good things about the MSA/Texas AK Adapter. But I've heard RenegadeBuck's is a lot easier to install. |
