Guys
I have an unfired Arsenal SLR 106FR (5.56) in desert stock, and am wondering how much it is worth this day - since it is not possible to get one from K-Var anymore. It is still in its box. Thanks |

A couple small batches supposedly did come in the country recently, though the distributors Arsenal lists still don't have any. Most distributors seem to be gearing up to sell them for around $1050 or so, if they actually do materialize soon.
They have been impossible to find new for over a year now. |

New ones will be here next month. They were delayed because of the weather in Europe. If you're thinking about hiking the price, not sure you'd get more than what you paid for + inflation. Thanks for the info. I certainly hope that's true. I'd heard January, and saw a few days when K-VAR had the 106F in stock (no rail), then out of stock again. I've owned a half a dozen 30 round mags for over a year now, thinking it'd just be a quick trip to a gun store to order an SLR-106 after I got the mags. |

Thanks I just bought an SLR-106FR I sold two years ago back for $700. Still unfired. I consider myself extremely lucky. If I were to sell one, it would be for no less than $900-1000 in today's market. |

You can put whatever price you want. If someone wants it bad enough, he/she will buy it. On the other hand, even if you put a fair price, and there is no demand- then it won't sell.
So far, there is really not much demand for SLR106FR, comparing to AK in 5.45 or 7.62. I got one lightly used here for $650 shipped a couple months ago and the seller was trying for awhile. At the same time, there were at least three SLR106 ads for around $850 or so and non was sold. So, put XXX price on and see where it goes in a few days, that should give you some idea if you want it sold fast- lower price. Or keep the price and play a waiting game. |

I picked up my 107fr for 869$ about 3 years back, It has undergone some what of a make over since then. Sent it to a AK Smith had the 24mm muzzle removed replaced it with a standard front sight block 14x1 threads (phantom hider). added the side rail, G2 FCG and the rifle was parked and coated with moly resin in grey.
It shoots very well 1"-1.5" 3 shot groups of the bench! Very pleased with her, Supposedly K-var has them back in stock for 900 Something? |
