I just purchased an Arsenal 106FR (non-folding) and was wondering if you can replace the factory fixed stock. It appears that the whole stock is riveted into the rear of the receiver. I ordered a Vltor stock adaptor after I bought the rifle, but now that I've received the rifle I'm wondering if it's even possible or worth trying to swap out the stock.
Thanks in advance. |

i think i just asked the same question in another thread.
do you have the ban type like this? http://www.arsenalinc.com/slr106frb.htm i found one at a local gun shop. the stock is hinged like a folder but is somehow made to not fold. i want to replace it with a real solid stock or a folder like the non ban SLR-106FR if i buy it. |
| I still don't have an anwser. I called Arsenal and they said it could be done, but that it was a ban gun, so they wouldn't tell me how to do it and directed me to K-Var who directed me back to Arsenal. I think I'm just going to sell it and build a Saiga. It's a new rifle, but the current stock is about 2" to short, plus I really want to mount the Vltor adapter so I can use the Magpul stock. If anyone figures it out please let me know. |
