I feel like I am whoring my Arsenal by putting a KVar plum synthetic stock on it.

I have looked high and low for a Bulgarian blonde stock set but couldnt find anything. Mine is a converted SLR95 done by Troy Sellers at InRange. What's the consensus on putting such a fine weapon in US made poly versus the more traditional wood?

yeah so did mine, the ghey thumbhole crap. I had it converted, meaning milled for a lower tang, bulgarian gas chamber with lug, retainer with rod hole, threaded barrel with bulgy slant brake, bulgy front site with rod holder and plunger. Now it looks like an AK should but the wood finished the project and is traditional but the poly is tougher and about the only thing out there right now.

I think a K-Var Plum Synthetic would look great on that rifle. My "no ban" SA M-7 Carbine has a US made black K-Var on it.....at least I think that's what Arsenal NV put on them, it looks like it.

K-Var

good luck finding them now though. I paid about $200 for all the parts but I looked at their website and they are out of stock on most of them now.
