Bulgarian AK74 parts kit built as Russian by Ted Marshall.  It was completed about four years ago, never has been fired.

When you are a C3 shooting a semi AK isn't all its cracked up to be.  I much prefer shooting Thompsons when I go to the range.

Besides when I put it up for sale it will be better offering it as new instead of used.

Why would you sell an AK, and worse, why haven't you fired it yet?  That thing to me just looks like it wants to be shot, kind of how you look at a red headed step child and just want to beat it remorselessly.

I have four other AKs besides that one.  No reason to turn a new gun into a used gun.

Disclaimer: I'm a shitty photographer.  Period.  On another note, here are some pics of my Arsenal SLR-105 (AKS-74 clone) with Russian Kobra red-dot.  I love the sight and I love the gun!

Here's the same SLR-105 with a Russian NSPU on the mount-rail.  And yes, that things actually works!

I know Im gonna take a beating on this but ––––-this is my Jim Fuller (rifle dynamics) AK (slr107Fr)
I dont like the balance of the 24mm muzzle break  on a full size AK so I switched it!
Also I left the update 90 degree because they (soviet block builder) thought it was to be more accurate.(maybe by a hair)

And out of all the builders I've used the best park/moly I have seen yet.

it looks cool, like Kyber Pass rifle with a polymer rear. I kinda like it. Also, you could always get a 24mm adapter to put the 74 style back on if you wanted to. I like it!

Hmmm, I thought I had posted mine, but apparently I had not, so here you go.

I don't know if the ISD Bulgarian AKs are frowned upon by the Arsenal snobs, but I am very happy with mine.

Before:

Add some Ironwood for a Hungarian AK. I modified the grip, BTW.

and de-banned the FSB

and the finished product

I received my KVAR sale SLR 106-33 (SLR 106 FR) today and not a scratch on it, but I'll fix that.

Fit and finish appears excellent.

I'll try to give it a shakedown this weekend.

What's interesting about the last two rifles I bought:

I acquired my Sig Classic on 11 Sep 2009 and this rifle on 10 Nov 2009.

Hi Omar,

Does the PKS07 fit correctly on the 106. Do you have proper eye relief. I was wondering if it fit the AK rail correctly because I was thinking of picking one up myself. I am a sucker for rare combloc optics. If you could post some more pics of it mounted to your 106 I would really appreciate it.

Thanks

It fits correctly, but the ergonomics and eye relief suck.

It also make the rifle unbalanced.

I just tried my PSO from my PSL and that fit, too.

I'm going to get the KVAR picatinny rail and put an aftermarket scope on it for the test I'm planning between a Sig 556, AR and this rifle.  I plan on using the same 10x mildot on all three rifles.

I'll use a KVAR mount places the optic over the centerline.

The PSO/PKS 11 0'clock position annoys the shit out of me.

Thanks for the input Jim, sounds like I will pass on the PKS-07. I don't mind the offset but the eye relief problem is a def. no-go.

Michael

EDIT: I think you will find that a long 10x scope will be difficult to use with the K-VAR mount. Eye relief will be a big problem. I put a DMS-1 on that mount for fun and it was ridiculous. I had to use an ADM extended ring set to get the proper eye relief. That put the optic even higher and made the rifle ridiculously heavy and awkward.

Here is a pic:

Yeah, I figured that would be the case, but I'll suffer through it as I want tto use the same optic and ammo for all three rifles to minimize the variables.

Gerald at Spartan mfg. hooked me up. He runs a local store and has a Industrial construction company on the side. I came to him with a problem and he gave me a solution. I've got him making me a few more for the rest of my 5.45 and 5.56 rifles. I'll try and get some pics of my 2 new Ak74's he just built for me with the same adapters. He also made me some extensions for the Midlength (AK102/AK105) brakes to make them legal length. But I like these set ups better with the YHM flash hider for my suppressor. Hellacool and the gun doesn't even move when you are firing it any more.

The only problem is the cost... $70 a pop for the adapters. If you want one I can always put you in contact with him.
