| Ok, I just finished a new pistol build on an AMD-65, using a Marshhawk Bent blank. The build went fine, except for one problem. After everything is completely assembled, the bolt will stick when it has chambered a round. Basically here's what happens: If I cycle the action with nothing load in there, the bolt will close and lock up just fine. It takes the normal amount of force to open the bolt at this point, retract, and the let it slam home, all that works fine. Now if I load a round in the mag, and rack the bolt back and let it slam home, it chambers the round just fine, but I cannot extract the round by hand. It requires banging on the handle with something to get it started. I have no idea what could cause this, and I'm hoping someone out there has ran into it. Also as a final note, If I remove just the bolt from the carrier, and stick a round in the bolt, them insert the bolt in the chamber/trunnion, I can lock it up easily, and remove it as well. Thanks for the help! |
