it looks like the bullets sits up to high.the bolt leaves a long scratch on every bullet.its kind of hard to pull the charging handle back.it doesnt happen with normal mags,(steel or polymer)i tried 8 30 round magazine and no problem,the gun has done this with 2 different drums.any ideas?

I will presume teh rifle does not cycle correctly, due to drum tension?
Try winding it less, try 3.5 and see how function is.  Etc.

i just tried it again with 3.5 same problem,so i tried i with 3 full turns its a little easier but when theres like 15 bullets left they dont cycle anymore.they just sit at the top and the bolt goes over them

Might I enquire as to what kind of AK?

Also, with 3.5/4 winds, does the bolt cycle normally?

ETA:  can you post a pic of the ammo in the feed lips of teh drum with 3 to 4 winds?

the ak is a century arms zastava n-pap id number RI2085-N on their site,i dont see it listed anymore.it said it could use all ak47 mags

as soon as you pull the charging handle back it gets caught on the bullet where you see the scratch,if you force it past that it chambers a round but it gets caught again you have to force it by

i'll try to get pictures of the bullets in the drum tomorrow .

Check you the width of the feed lips on the magazine.  I can't think of anything else it could be since your other magazines are OK.  If you don't have a micrometer the eye ball the "spread" of the magazine lips.  Good luck.
