[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Need broken shell extractor for ak74

Was letting a coworker fire my krinkov and had a case head seperate. Have tried bore brushes and cleaning rod with a patch with no luck. would like to buy an extractor but can't find one for a 5.45. does any one know where to find one, can I use a 5.56 or where I could borrow one.

I have used a bore snake in the past. It worked well.

No dice, web site would not let me order. Sent an email to see if it was in stock. May have to call Kvar monday. Their site says out of stock as well but might be worth a call.

Okay, I'm in Copperas Cove just west of Ft Hood. I may have one, I'm not sure, I've got several after too many years in uniform. I know some are for 7.62 Nato, one is 7.62x54R and from there I'd really have to look. Maybe we can get together somewhere and see if anything fits.
