What is the best way to go about fixing sights that are canted a few degrees on a WASR 10? Searched around but maybe I wasn't looking in the right spot, be gentle

Here's THE Romanian WASR site. It offers details on fixing canted sights. Do some reading: www.gunsnet.net/linx310/ In short: Drive out the pins, use a padded hammer to tap the sight support straight, re-drill the holes with a 1/8" drill and drive in new 1/8" pins. The only "watch out" is to make sure the drill doesn't drift off and drill the hole into the barrel or into the sight support wrong. |
