I just received my IO STG-2003C 5.56x45 rifle.  I really like this thing and I think for the money it was worth the wait (I ordered it a couple of weeks after the ad came out in SGN).  The finish is excellent, the mag locks in tight, the stock is really comfortable.  I recieved a metal magazine with it, I am not sure what type of magazine this is but I suspect it is a weiger mag.  The magazine has two holes on the bottom to take the floorplate off.  Now begins the hunt for more of these magazines.

I have been wondering about these.  How is the handguard attached to the barrel?
What kind of accuracy.

Pics?

I have'nt had a chance to clean the cosmoline out of it yet.  I plan on taking it out to a range this weekend.  To remove the handguards push them towards the receiver and pull out the sling attachement eyelit from the left, my eyelit does not come off the front retainer, then push the handguard retainer forward and the forearms come off like the M16A1.  There is a left and right side, the gas tube stays on.  Sorry no pics yet, but it does look like the 7.62 version without the magazine attached.

Thanks.  How much was it?  Please take a pic of the mag so we can determine what type of mag would fit.  In InterOrdnance ads, it shows Galil Orlite.

Okay sports fans I need someone to host my pics.  I can send them to you and I will relink them myself.  I picked up a pro-mag 30 today and it locks in tight.  Range report will be coming after next weekend.
