[ARCHIVED THREAD] - My first AK

I am planning on ordering a new AK 47 in a week or two. I have decided to order a Vector from atlantic firearms. I was wondering if anyone has ever done business with them and how was it? Also do you recommend the classic wood style or the side folder. They are both listed at $499. Is this a good choice for my first AK.

Vector AKs are a good choice for anybody. I would recommend a fixed stock for your first gun. Most people find them more comfortable over the sidefolders and underfolders. Good luck with your purchase. Welcome to the dark side.
