I see that TAPCO has both single hook and double hook fire control groups. What is the difference? What do you guys recommend for a major case of AK trigger slap on a YUGO.Thanks.

Nothing other than some AKs can't accept the double hook trigger.

First, welcome to ARFCOM!

Yugo recievers are cut for a double hook, which actually means they will take single OR double. Look under the reciever, just forward of the trigger. See the two slots extending forward? Means double hook, although you probably have a single hook Century trigger (marked with a 'c') since you're getting slapped.

Recommendations:

1)fix it yourself www.gunsnet.net/Linx310/slapfix.htm

2)spend 40 bucks on a nice Tapco, or

3)spend 100 bucks on a two-stage Red Star trigger (I'll get booed for that one; most guys will opt for option 1 or 2)

Again, welcome.
