i was thinking of getting a polymer stock from kvar for my slr 95. i don't want to bother with installing a lower tang, and i found some info on doing a fender washer mod for milled stocks.
my question is , are polymer stocks solid where i would need to drill for a bolt to mount the fender washer? or are they hollow or so thin that they would not provide any substantial strength for the bolt threads?
i don't want a wooden stock set, so if the ploymer stocks are too thin i quess i'll go with an ace folder.
any help would be great.

I seem to remember a farily recent thread on this subject in the Bulgarian section of the AK forum. Thought you might wanna review it while waiting for additional responses to this thread.
