Jumped in, too. 5,400 rounds of Bulgarian ammo here, 5,400 on the way, and just put in for a Tantal from Atlantic. People, this is a boat that I would not miss.

Just ordered 1,000rds of Wolf 60gr from Centerfire Systems today. Total with shipping was $207

Pricey, yes. But I want non-corrosive and do NOT want the 70gr stuff.

The 70g has a little less Velocity and Energy compared to the 60g, but it's still effective and still and definately more than fine for range use.

70 grain bullet trajectory does not match sight adjustments on AK-74 sight leaf.

For starters the velocity is somewhere in the 2400+ fps range. About a 500fps loss by only going up 10gr in bullet weight (from the 60 grainers). This of course affects trajectory. Not quite as flat a shooter as 5.45 is capable of. Also, from what I've read here they do not have the vaunted "air pocket" in the nose FWIW.

Nah, I'll stick to something a little more "dynamic" and at least closer to the idea behind the small-caliber-high-velocity concept.

I agree though, that it's okay for plinking.
