I don't cehck this forum too often so I ask your forgiveness if this has been discussed every week already.

I have a 1.0mm Global Trades receiver and a Romanian "G" kit. Please recommed who I should send it to to have it built properly. Not looking to pay for "best of the best" just reliable work at a decent price. What should I expect for turn around time?

Is there a builder that also works with the stock and handguards to make it look nice like some of the pictures I've seen posted here?

Do you recommend for or against K-var synthetic stocks or is that more a matter of personal preference?

Thanks to all.

They mnake the only US parts count poly with actual heat sheilds like the furrin milspec. There is usually decent wood under the Romy goop if you just use Formby's stripper and refinishing products. Not custom cool but usually nice for cheap/easy.

I'd also check out Missouri Custom Armament (MCA). They have quite a few fans around here these days, and they've put out some awesome builds. Here: MCA

Good luck.
