I am new to this side of the house (primarily a 1911 guy).  I have always wanted an AK and the older I get that want becomes more apparent.  So I've been checking out the selection on Atlantic Firearms.  Which one of these rifles packs the best value for the money?  I have been looking at the basic AK's from both Lancaster and Vector with the classic slant muzzle brake and the Russian  AK-103 Style AK 47 Rifle,  762 x 39 , semi auto.  My main concerns are; reliabilty (it's an AK, so it should perform like one), overall quality and customer satisfaction.  So what you?  Any and all info is greatly appreciated.  Thanks.

From the line they carry, Vector. I beleive they are still built from Polish parts which are very high quality. Only thing is that damn grey park finish but most current massproduction companies use it due to time and cost. Vector with some GunKote

That would make a darn near perfect rifle.

Lancasters has turned out some simply amazing builds as well, but they've also thrown out a couple of duds.

I owned a Vector underfolder for about a month and had to sell it due to medical bills.  I thought it was an excellent build...top notch.  I have since purchased a Lancaster Romanian clone and love it just as much.  Excellent finish and the parts look like new.

However, if I could only keep one of my AKs, it would definitely be my Arsenal SLR-105A1.  This doesn't help you much since they're very hard to find.  Given your choices and criteria you listed, a Lancaster or Vector would be my choice.
