Will a Galill bolt carrier fit in a polish underfolder and work if the gas piston is changed to the proper type?
I'm new to AK's so please be gentle...

No it won't work. The Galil bolt carrier is made for a 5.56 bolt which has a narrower bolt stem than a 7.62. The Polish bolt won't fit inside the Galil bolt carrier.
