7.62 or .223 :  $250 at a gunshow, $275 at most gun shops.

.308:  $325-375.  

I've run into quite a few used ones for $150-175.  Most don't get shot much.  These guns are really unwieldy with the "sporter" stock, so plan on an extra $100 for US compliance conversion parts.

How does the .308 model shoot? I have been considering one instead of a Romak or PSL. Of course it would have to be modified to accept pistol grip.

This was with the conversion I did with open sights, rapid fire with the 20 round mag. Silver Bear ammo. No adjustment to sights at 75 yards approximate through desert brush.  I've since adjusted the sight for elevation and installed my last adjustable rear sight on it so I have to go out and try it again.  With a scope, bag and bench I would expect better group. I shoot lousy with open AK sights.
