I was at the local gunstore yesterday making a payment on my Yugo RPK, and he had a Saiga 12gauge folder, and gasp WASR UFs. Now the Saiga was cool, but I`m worried about the whole DD thing, but the WASR UFs left a lot to be desired on an UF. THe finish was poor, it didn`t have the dimples, and when I tried to fold the stock it would only fold so far, about a half an inch from the stock. Century is doing a great job with the Yugo line ( I have a M-70 UF and a M72 RPK in the works) but what happened to the WASR line? They`d have a good product at great price if the just did some tweaking. |
Bet you it still works 100%. An AK is usually drude as looks go but that is the last thing most AK lovers look at if your hung up on that stick to other rifles. 1 or 2 CAIs rifles per batch will have a minor problem which is easily and cheaply fixed as well I believe they now have impressive warranties. |
