I purchased a Romy wire folder from a seller on GunBroker. It came with no screws, and I'm having the hardest time finding the proper screws. It appears that they must be flat-headed to allow the recoil spring to seat completely and properly. Any ideas on where I can find originals, or what I would need to ask for in a hardware store? I've been everywhere and cannot find a good match.

Ace Hardware or Home Depot/Take the stock with you to make sure they fit. You'll have to get a shorter one for the rear hole otherwise the arm will hit it when you operate the folder.

What you want to get is  Flat Head machine screws with the cut for an allen wrench.

The thread is METRIC , but I forget what pitch.

They are 5mm screws.  DPH Arms has the screws for sale.  I believe they are $4 a set.  Check them out.  They are great to deal with!!  If the do not have them...check with Cope's.

+1.
and if they're too long and get in the way of the folder, just use a dremel to shorten them as needed.

The Romy side folder uses 2 different lengths of screws.  I also sell that same stock and happen to have some spare screws if you need them.  Give me your address and I'll send you a set if you can't find them locally.

I noticed that it would be two different lengths when I tried cutting different screws down to fit. Thank you Blackjack!
