i bought one of their new SSR-85-C2 rifles awhile back and just receintly took it out to shoot. it shoot well and cycled everything i fed it including Wolf HP that alot of people have issues with but when i got home to clean it i noticed the gas tube was pitted on the inside from corrosive ammo. this was just the tube, there was no pitting on the piston just the gas tube. after looking at it some more i noticed the serial nuber on the gas tube did not match the rest of the rifle. so i called Armory USA and talked to one of the gunsmiths, after explaining the issue he apologized and said there was most likely a problem with the original and this one was substituted. he again apologized for it not being caught before it left the factory and said they will send out a new one ASAP. i was never asked to show proof of purchase and they were very nice to deal with on the phone. i should have the new one early next week. i just thought i would share my experiance for any looking at their rifles. ETA: the only other issue i have had with this rifle is what ever they used th seal the wood on the stock becomes sticky when warm and will pick up dirt from you hands and will scrape off easily. i might strip the wood and refinish it, maybe in Russian red. |
i cant say anything about their gunsmith as i have never had repairs done by him but the customer service i received was very good. i bought the rifle about 6 months ago and just now noticed the pitting in the gas tube, i was never questioned about this and they sent out the new part with no questions asked. maybe i just got lucky. |
This clown with the limited vocabulary probably did have a problem, but I'm not sure it is with Armory, maybe with the English speaking people. I received a beat up mag with my new SSR85C2 and called Houston and complained. They sent a new mag to me within five days. I think they are Okay people. |
| Just letting some frustration out. I bought a new rifle from them that needed repair so I sent the rifle and it took 8 weeks and excuses from their gunsmith why it took so long and when I got the rifle back, it was not fixed. I called and politely told them the repair was not done and they were going to have their gunsmith call me back which he never did. You call that good CS? |

I had the same Armory USA AK a couple years ago when I first started getting into the AK thing. When I got the AK home from the dealer I went to clean the rifle and the receiver was full of rust!!! I sent it back to Armory USA and they stated they would reparkerize it & "Correct the problem". When I got it back it almost 2 weeks later I field stripped the rifle again and the receiver was full of what looked like CLP and rust!!! I sent it back and I demanded a full refund. I ended up getting a check in the mail about 2 weeks later. I then heard about the Arsenal line and I bought a Arsenal SA M7 carbine. I've had her for a couple years now and I haven't had any problems |
